Joint Communique of the United States of America and the People's Republic of China (the 1982 Communique)

In the Joint Communique on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations on January 1, 1979, issued by the Government of the United States of America and the People's Republic of China, the United States of America recognized the Government of the People's Republic of China as the sole legal Government of China, and it acknowledged the Chinese position that there is but one China and Taiwan is part of China. Within that context, the two sides agreed that the people of the United States would continue to maintain cultural, commercial, and other unofficial relations with the people of Taiwan. On this basis, relations between the United States and China were normalized.

The General Assembly
Recalling the principles of the Charter of the United Nations, Considering that the restoration of the lawful rights of the People’s Republic of China is essential both for the protection of the Charter of the United Nations and for the cause that the United Nations must serve under the Charter, Recognizing that for the representatives of the Government of the People’s Republic of China are the only lawful representatives of China to the United Nations and that the People’s Republic of China is one of the five permanent members of the Security Council, Decides to restore all its rights to the People’s Republic of China and to recognize the representatives of its Government as the only legitimate representatives of China to the United Nations, and to expel forthwith the representatives of Chiang Kai-shek from the place which they unlawfully occupy at the United Nations and in all the organizations related to it.

美中建交的817公报上，美国只同意“一中原则”三段论的第一及第二段。世界上只有一个中国，中华人民共和国是唯一代表中国的政府，美国知悉(acknowledge)中国的一个中国主张，台湾是中国的一部分。美国用的是“acknowledge”这个字，表示你说的我听到了。并不是我承认，接受。取而代之的是台湾关系法，六项保证，台湾旅行法，国防授权法等等。尤其是六项保证之一就是美国不承认中国拥有台湾的主权。使美国政府可以军售台湾，官员及将领可以访问台湾。所以美国的「一中政策」实际上就是「一中一台政策」。

1:16 就是中国内战还没结束嘛！谁家的拳头大谁来当家接管，内战就结束，谈判也是解决的方式，也是陆委会存在的目的。但是两岸互相承认主权....是87的説法！

台湾是不是想明白了，以一岛之地与大陆持久必败无疑，所以与其坐而待亡，不如乘老美在亚太影响力犹在，大陆尚未真正做大做强之前，就把台独摆上台面，逼大陆动手？
