关于中国开放的问题，赖教授没有考虑到新变种的出现。目前现有的疫苗对Omicron的防护基本没有，所以对待Omicron就回到了没有疫苗时候的情况。如果对Omicron有效的二代疫苗研制成功，有可能又会回到之前疫苗接种的情形，就是所有人都必须重新打一遍，而同时，世界上需要不出现新的疫苗不能防护的新变种。所以今年晚些大陆会开放似乎有些难。
