USN currently has 11 large nuclear powered aircraft carriers & 9 LHA or LHDs that each could carry about 20 F-35Bs.
Which means USN has about 20 aircraft carriers, therefore to counter these threats, China has to rely on their arsenal of DF-21D, DF-26 & lastly Hypersonic Glide Vehicle DF-17 which the USN has no mean to counter this threat against them.
That is why the US want China to discard their intermediate missile like the DF-17 which is the greatest threat to the USN, only a fool will discard their best weapon against the threat from the largest navy in the world.
Then US also want China to reduce their nuclear weapons which are less than 400, whereas US has more than 1,000 operational nuclear weapons plus many more in storage. China response to this is that US reduce their nuclear weapon to the same level as China, then China will then response to a mutual nuclear reduction.
Sometime I see US politicians and military brass make statement like a small kid as if the rest of the world are as low IQ as them!!!???
