(1) Taiwan is part of China. Mainland is also part of China. And this nation, China, is not whole since 1949, under internal civil war, more than seventy years now.
(2) A nation not fully own and whole is not free! Liberation to its unification is imperative. It is this nation, leaders and people alike, utmost patriotic and sacred duties to work toward this goal in a timely manner.
(3) [wikis ]The China Civil War ... between the Kuomintang (KMT)-led government of the Republic of China (ROC) and forces of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)...1927 ... Communists gained control of mainland China and established the People's Republic of China (PRC) in 1949 ... both officially claiming to be the legitimate government of all China. ... both tacitly ceased fire in 1979, however, no armistice or peace treaty has ever been signed.
(4) The future of these lands under this one nation, China, must be decided by all 1.2 billion of its people TOGETHER. And as of now, only measurable, meaningful, progressive steps toward a peaceful unification in a timely manner is acceptable. It is the wishes of the majority.
(5) Xi, mainland leader, pleaded to move forward with peaceful timely unification with "92 understanding" and "One nation two systems" 10-9 during its celebration of 110 years of nation day.
(6) Taiwan elected government represented by its leader Ms. Tsai openly stated, on its 10-10 2021 national day, that it want to 'maintain the statue quote' and refuse to move forward.
(7) Personally, I don't really care which side did the actual unification. China is expecting a great change of Taiwan situation after 2022 and 2024 elections. If needed to, finish the civil war, and get this over with it.
(8) This is a China internal matter and its utmost national security issue. China's future already decided by its people, all 1.2 billions of them. Any and all forms of exploiting and interfering, foreign or internal, will not be tolerated.

Good morning Professor Lai. Thank you for your analysis of Mr Sullivan and Mr Yang's meeting at Switzerland. I believe Mr Sullivan's highest priority is to open the "senior level economics relationships communications channel" between the US and China because the US needs China to buy US farm goods, natural gas and to buy US Treasury bonds to show progress in the international trade front. US domestic politics is almost in gridlock. Inflation is pushing higher in the US and the global energy shortage will push it higher. GOP and Trump are pushing hard to make progress in 2022 midterm elections and in 2024. Biden is running out of options. Biden needs China's help and China knows this. China has laid down the conditions for agreeing to talk. In the next 2 months, I believe that the US will begin to meet those conditions (2 pages and 3 bottom lines) otherwise Xi will not meet with Biden. Does this analysis make sense ? Thank you.

就这几天，CNN还找个了演员假扮警察抹黑新疆，美国国家公共电台（NPR）派了个华裔记着学BBC，在贵州毕节造谣抹黑扶贫工作，CIA成立“中国任务中心”。明的暗的搞中国的动作一直不停，这个就是美国人所谓的谈判“诚意”。小学生都不信。

美国和西方一定要防。它们有那种 ‘ 毁灭 和掠夺’ 别人的基因。不是乱讲，而是 看它们的历史和现在他们的举动。但是为了大局，只要它们 要合作，中方也应该要2合作。要有B，C 计划，来应付它们的随时的变化。
