I had reiterated countless times whether a country progress or regress depended on the voters. Mature voters won't simply change a gov just because of one or two unpopular law passed. Instead , voters must loon at how these decision impact the country.
You want democracy like USA. Then obviously you will also inherit the negatives of that system. Good luck to roc Taiwan who pride themselves of the REAL democracy in Asia. We, Singaporean dun need this sort of democracy.
